All verbs in Spanish end in AR-ER or IR. For example, in the verb “Cantar” (to sing), Cant- is called the root, and -ar is the ending.
If we have a verb with the ending AR and it is a regular verb, we conjugate it in the following way:

Vos Cantás
Tú Cantas
Usted/ Él/Ella Canta
Nosotros-as Cantamos
Ustedes/Ellos/Ellas Cantan
