The Difference between "Ir" & "Venir"

This is something that confuses A LOT of my students whose first language is English.

The Spanish verbs "ir" and "venir" both relate to movement, but they are used in different contexts and have distinct meanings. English speakers often mix them up because both verbs can be translated as "to go" or "to come" in certain situations, depending on the context.
