In this lesson, we will look at some basic prepositions common in Spanish: A, En, De, Con, Por, and Para. We will not see all of their uses, but their most popular uses.
A:
We use “A” always with verbs that indicate movements because “A” indicates direction:
IR A: Voy a la escuela en taxi. (I’m going to the school by taxi).
VIAJAR A: este avión viaja a Iguazú. (This airplane travels to Iguazú).
MUDARse A: Juan se quiere mudar a Mendoza porque es una ciudad más tranquila. (Juan wants to move to Mendoza because is a more relaxed city).
